Game Sunday Noon FOD vs Lindenhurst-- no practice Thursday

Nice turnout Tuesday night for an indoor practice during some lousy weather. With 14 attendees, i was happy with what we accomplished.
No practice Thursday.
I am optimistic that with several days of forecast sun and temps in the 40s, we will be able to see the turf by the weekend.
Scheduled scrimmage noon on Sunday at FOD against Lindenhurst.
I also have some time scheduled for Saturday at 2 PM-- will know better by Friday morning whether turf will let us go on Saturday.
Looking ahead-
practice next Tuesday (2/23) at Burns 8-9 PM-- if field not ready, we will practice in the parking lot
practice in the McKenna gym next Thursday (2/25)-- 730-830 PM
Dix Hills tournament- Feb 26-27-28-
we may have a Friday night game--
brackets are out-- we are in a bracket with Lewisboro Extreme (upstate NY); AJAX Burlington (CT) and East Meadow Phantoms--- three teams we have never seen.
We play these three. If we finish in top 2, we advance to semifiinals and finals on Sunday.
See you Sunday (and maybe Saturday if the melt comes quickly)
