June is often a sad time for soccer teams as old friends decide to hang up the cleats and concentrate on another sport.
Caroline, one of our originals, has decided to focus on volleyball this year.
So, after 6 years of the Lady Hurricanes, and more than 200 outdoor games and countless indoor games, Caroline will be joining the distinguished alumnae portion of our home page.
Always a strong player on the field, Caroline has also been a good teammate and leader off the field.
As I have always said, there is a lot to be said for volleyball. It is indoors; you get a seat; and you're done in an hour. Except in high school, where they apparently have tournaments that last 10 hours!
I know we will see Caroline, Lisa, Tom, and Nicole around town. So it's not good-bye but good luck.
We hope to see you back out on the soccer field again soon.
