From all accounts, this has been a tough week for all of the Lady Hurricanes who are trying out for their school teams. Rumor has it that even the volleyball players are being required to engage in strenuous physical activity.
As a result, we are going to cancel the Thursday night practice. Rest up and finish the tryout week strong.
On Saturday, we have Burns East for a scrimmage at 5PM against the West Babylon Herricanes. West Babylon is a solid Division 1 team and it will be a good team to play in preparation for the season.
The season will open on Sunday Sep 7 at 1240 PM with a game at Anchor Park against the Bayport Breakers. I will get the rest of the schedule tomorrow night and I will post it then.
If you cannot make the scrimmage Saturday, please let me know immediately. Thanks
