Although we had assumed that a 9-0 Fall record would result in placement in Division 1 for the spring, it's never over until the official announcement is made.
In a bit of a surprise, the league did not go along with the club request for placement in Suffolk. Instead, the Lady Hurricanes will compete in a very competitive Nassau Division 1 for the Spring.
The opponents will be as follows:
Dix Hills Power
East Meadow Express
Farmingdale Rebels
Levittown Lightning
Long Beach Tigers
Massapequa Force
New Hyde Park Lady Cougars
Plainedge Strikers
Valley Stream Trouble
The league did grant the requests of the Massapequa Lil Spirit (Nassau Division 2) and the Massapequa Goal Diggers (Suffolk Division 2) for their spring placement.
It should be a great spring season!
