As the saying goes, "it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." I had no expectations going into this past season other than expecting Katie to have fun. Well, Katie had lots of fun, and more. She learned how to play good hard clean soccer and she learned how to play as part of a team. As a parent, I can't thank Coaches Larry, Sean, Jeff, and John enough for all the work they put into making this season such a fun experience, for the kids, and for us. The Lady Hurricanes are very fortunate to have coaches who I feel exhibit a perfect balance between coaching to win, understanding that they're coaching 9 & 10 year old girls, and understanding that soccer isn't the most important thing in the world. Keep up the great work Lady Hurricanes!!!
